Patricia Ann Pomeranz was born on April 10, 1943, in Garfield, MN, to August and Rose (Kemnitz) Pomeranz. She was the youngest of the couple’s five children. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Alexandria, MN in 1961. Pat was united in marriage to Roger Clinton Reents at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Robbinsdale, MN, on September 14, 1962. They made their home on the family farm near Glenwood where they raised their two children, Jason and Kelly. Pat and Roger shared 63 years of marriage, a partnership marked by love, loyalty, and countless shared memories.

Pat was a devoted wife and mother who always placed the needs of her family before her own. She will be remembered for her creativity and many talents that brought beauty and warmth to every part of their home. Pat often worked on the farm driving tractors and mowing the yard. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, crocheting, ceramics, and she loved browsing the internet for pictures and videos of animals to enjoy and share with others. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as many cherished pets over the years. Some of her best friends were her neighbors, and they shared countless visits over a cup of coffee and cookies or a cake she baked. Pat enjoyed watching the Saturday night races at the Viking Speedway and attending the Minnesota State Fair. Time spent visiting her sister and family at the cabin in Alexandria, MN also created many special memories for the entire family. Pat cherished the RV trips she and Roger were able to take with her siblings over the years. In later years, Pat and Roger thoroughly enjoyed their day trips to various places.

Pat enjoyed having a part-time job out of the home. For several years, she drove school bus. While she was a part-time receptionist at Parkview Court, she would also fill in as a bus or van driver and assisted in the daycare and activities departments. She retired from Glenwood Retirement Village where she excelled at providing a caring and encouraging environment for residents.

Pat passed away at the Glenwood Retirement Village on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the age of 82. The Reents family would like to thank everyone who was a part of Pat's health care these last few months.

Pat is survived by her husband, Roger, of Glenwood; their two children, Jason (Michelle) Reents and Kelly (Tom Johnsrud) Reents, of Glenwood; four grandsons, Kyle Syverson of Sunburg, Brandon (Crystal) Luedeke of Carlos, Kameron Rood of Willmar, and Karter Reents of Glenwood; four great-grandchildren, Riaden, Naomi, Gwen, and Parker; one sister, Norma Olson of Alexandria; a sister-in-law, Marlys Branby of Starbuck; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Rose Pomeranz, and her three brothers, Delmer, Duwaine, and Roy Pomeranz.
