Leona "Nona" D. (Demoruelle) Bohmer

Leona "Nona" Demoruelle Brady Bohmer, age 99, of Harahan, Louisiana passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2026. A memorial service and inurnment will take place in June at Brooten, Minnesota. The date and times will be announced. Arrangements are with Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home of Brooten.

Born on July 14, 1926 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Nona worked many years with adults who had developmental disabilities at the Magnolia School. She was known for her love of entertaining family and friends and her love of all creatures great and small.

Nona is survived by her sister, Diane Demoruelle Richardson; nephew, John Demoruelle Richardson; and niece, Gail Diane Richardson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Hamilton and Leona (Daniel) Demoruelle, Jr.; and husbands, Warren Roy Brady (1980) and John Owen Bohmer (2022).
